Shoes...
Come in colourful forms and styles
Stacks and stacks of 'em on display *sigh* admirable
The feel of a comfortably worn shoes *sigh* so snug
There is always one perfect pair for every occasion
Shoes obsession
Went to the three day shoe sale
Stood in line under the hot sun
No luck on the first day
Left the place feeling contented on the second day
Went there on the third day.. just to say goodbye
Alas sun-baked skin but ah.. not everyday is a shoe sale day

Productive procrastination
Phew.. what an absence and that's what I called 'productive procrastination'! One and a half years!! The idea of starting a blog was so fresh and strong somewhere in January 2007. That was when I had too much time in my hands. I've now moved to a much busier place, work-wise that is. I left my 'laid-back hulu clinic' to work at a hospital in June 2007. I was initially posted to Paediatric Department where work is hectic everyday. Then to the Emergency Department where I can't even have my toilet break! I'm now at a much relaxing place called ENT which stands for easy no tension hahah!
I just got back from Bali 4 days ago. Went there with my travel freak friend from Uni days. Just the 2 of us girls, both clueless as to what Bali had to offer. Maybe it showed too much on our faces. I think we were the only Malaysians who got swindled in Bali.. I've asked around and everyone thinks Balinese are heaven-sent!! I won't despair though, would love to go there again with my significant other! But, that time around I'll make sure they know who's the boss!! hahah :p
I went to Clark's warehouse sale at Glenmarie Shah Alam during Friday's lunch break today. It was the first day of a 3 day sale. The queue went on forever.. and I was sweating like mad. Standing in line under the hot sun, people pushing and shoving, screaming and shouting and the sad thing is my size was mostly gone by the time I was granted entry!! Those left are that ones that I bought at their warehouse sale 2 years ago and I've hardly worn them. Boo..
Okie dokie cookie.. I think it's high time that I clean off the sweat and tears from my earlier rendezvous.
Au revoir

Catchphrase
I watched a movie on the flight back from Melbourne and a phrase uttered by one of the casts struck me. 'You won't fail if you don't give up' - profound isn't it? Such simple words but full of wisdom and a whole lotta truth! If you keep on trying eventually you'll succeed. The amount of success varies but there's bound to be some.
The movie was The Last Kiss starring Zach Braff from Scrubs. It's supposed to be shown on local cinema in February, if I'm not mistaken. It's about uncertainties in life and the consequences of falling to temptations and of course facing the results of said actions. Not a bad movie to watch but don't blame me if you don't get your ringgits worth!

Giving Something Back to Society
Isn't it a wonderful thing if we were born a philanthropist?
Always having this need to give and to give and to contribute
Hoping that we will make a difference in society
So that the future of our children and our children's children is secured
Always having this need to give and to give and to contribute
Hoping that we will make a difference in society
So that the future of our children and our children's children is secured
The place that I work at right now allows me to contribute to society. I can give my all. I can sacrifice my weekends to preach and teach and make them take their health seriously. But how well do they take it? How far do they hold to the idea? I'm having trouble as it is talking to difficult patients. They drive me nuts, that sometimes I just keep my mouth shut and pretend to listen to their lousy excuses for not taking their meds or for not coming to the clinic as appointed. Then they with their sullen faces will leave the clinic and probably won't be coming back. To hell with modern medicine they will say. 'We'll stick to our trusted home remedy and air akar kayu to manage our blood pressure and diabetes!' they chant in unison.

Melbourne
The safest city one can imagine
On foot for hours on end with no worries
The city tranquil and bustling with activities
With the locals and tourists in a colorful array of ethnicities
The beach serene and windy
The road broad but traffic palatable
Shopping- ah, simply heaven!
The salesperson ever so friendly
Simply glad I've been there.

Questions!
Ever had the feeling that you are trapped until it suffocates?
Ever had dreams of becoming someone else?
Ever felt that you are supposed to reach greater heights?
Ever felt that what you are doing had no real meaning?
Ever dreamt of working overseas during winter?
Ever went out with a weirdo with shrink tendencies (who might hit a nerve or two)?

This is it!
After giving a lot of thoughts and considerations, I finally give-up! So here I am! I'm here, I've arrived. Have been going on for years about blogging, even dreamt about it! But why start now... you may ask. And that question brings me to the issue of disclosure. How much am I willing to disclose? Not much I hope. I'll try to remain the private person that I am. So here goes...
